Double Wammie Winner!
Best World Album / Best World Artist. Thank you for your votes friends!! I'm now a double Wammie Winner in the World music category. Best World/Global Artist and Best World/Global Album, and the winners were announced live on Saturday, 3/28 at Capital Turnaround in SE DC. Many amazing artists were also Finalists, and I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have made the cut this year, my first time in the DC wide contest. Congrats to everyone who boldly put their music out there!!
Blues Alley Monday March 9!
Dream come true - for real!
March 9 is a Monday, its Emerging Artist night at Blues Alley, Women’s History Month, and in partnership with the Argentine embassy I’ve been invited by owner Harry Schnipper (had to save the screen shot for posterity) to present my new album Raíces plus other American songwriting material!! 🎉 Big shout out to my Antidote album label owners Ken Avis & Lynn Veronneau.

Here is a pic of when I took my entire family to see Poncho Sanchez on my bday in 2018. What a dream to get to play there, a huge honor, and I know my dad would be so thrilled too if he were here.
My bandmates for this double show will be Kevin Dudley my co-producer and guitarist on the album, Eugenio Ibarz, double bassist on the album, Manuel Arciniega on percussion. Manny has performed with orchestras and ensembles worldwide — including the The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of India, and the American Pops Orchestra. He especially loves the argentine zambas and Cuban styles that I play, and will be a perfect fit for the show. Last but not least, my friend and super talented singer songwriter Grey Jacks will be with us at the piano and singing harmonies.
